@user is really right<span style= 'text-decoration: underline;'> I'd like to add that if your iphone nevertheless doesn't pulse, it may be due to more troubles, like physical damage to the vibration engine. Here's a step by step instruction:

1. open Settings
2. tap on Sounds & Haptics or just Sounds dependingon your model
3. switch the Vibrate on Silent to on
