Sure, I can help. Vibrating dog collars are quite useful for receiving your dog's thought throughout training, but it's crucial to use them correctly. Remember, the pulse feature should not be perceived as punishment, but rather to get your dog's thought.

That makes sense. So how should I start off using it?

Here's the basic step approach I took:
  1. start by allowing your dog get accustomed to the collar. Put it on them with out turning on the pulse. Allow them to wear it around the house, for the duration of walks, etc.
  2. start employing the collar during training periods. Turn on the vibration feature occasionally to grab your dog's thought but do not overuse it.
  3. combine it with tongue commands. The goal is to use the pulse as a cue to get your dog's attention, then give your desired command.
remember, training is about positive reinforcement. In no way use the collar to scare or hurt your dog.

I see, sounds guidance. What about the intensity settings? I don't want to startle my dog.

Good question! For starters, choose the lowest setting and observe your dog's reaction. If your dog appears too startled or scared, it may well be too high. The idea is to get their thought, not scare them.

Fun fact, for deaf or hearing-impaired dogs, a pulse collar can be an indispensable tool for conversation and training.
