Steering Vibration Over 65 Mph
#1
i've been experiencing some steering pulse in my car anytime I go over 65 mph. It's quite visible and a bit concerning. Does anyone know what may possibly be causing this?

steering vibrations at higher speeds are often due to problems with your tires or wheels. Check if your tires are effectively well balanced and aligned. Unbalanced tires or misalignment can cause noticeable vibrations.

I had a similar problem, and it turned out to be a problem with my wheel bearings. Worn-out or damaged wheel bearings can cause vibrations that become more obvious at higher speeds. It may possibly be worth having them checked.

don't forget to inspect your suspension components as well. Worn out bushings or struts can contribute to vibrations. A thorough check-up from a mechanic could help pinpoint the actual lead to.

sometimes, vibrations can be related to the generate shaft or Cv joints. If you've ruled out the tires and suspension, it might be a good idea to get those items inspected too.
