Why Does My Bed Vibrate at Night?
#1
lately, I've been feeling my bed vibrating at night time. It's subtle, but it's enough to disturb my sleep. Has anyone else qualified this, and what could it be?

i've had that happen too! For me, it turned out to be the heating system in my house. When it kicks on, it causes a slight pulse in the walls, which I could feel in the bed. Maybe examine if your Hvac technique or something in your home is creating it?

could it be an machine running in another room? Sometimes when my washing machine is on a spin cycle, I feel vibrations in the floor ing that make their way to the bed. It's worth checking what's running in the house when it happens.

it could also be related to traffic outside the house or construction nearby. I used to live near a busy road, and the vibrations from passing trucks at night would make it feel like my bed was shaking. Is there any external sounds when it happens?

I had a equivalent situation, and it turned out to be a loose bed frame. It was subtle, but any tiny movements in the room would lead to the bed to vibrate. Try tightening up the screws or moving the bed to see if it's a structural concern.
