Why Is My iphone Randomly Vibrating?
#1
lately, my iphone has been randomly vibrating for no cause. There's no notification, no calls—just random buzzes. Has anyone experienced this? What could be causing it?

this happens to me too sometimes! One thing you may want to check is your notification settings. Sometimes apps will send silent notifications that don't appear on screen but nevertheless trigger vibrations. Go to your notification settings and review which apps have the vibrate feature switched on.

it could also be a bug with ios. I had random vibrations after updating my iphone once. A quick restart or resetting the network settings helped resolve the concern.

you should also examine if do Not Disturb is on or if there are scheduled notifications from apps that aren't showing up. At times, even alarms can cause random vibrations if they're set to vibrate only.

another thing to consider is if you have any Bluetooth devices linked. I noticed that my phone would pulse randomly when my Bluetooth devices tried to reconnect. It's not continually obvious when it's happening, but it can trigger a buzz.

speaking of Bluetooth, I've been employing Lovense's app-controlled toys with my cell phone, and at times I get random vibrations when the connection glitches. It's rare, but it's one of those things that could be happening if you have connected products that may well be synchronizing through the app.

thanks for the tips, everyone! I'll check the notifications and Bluetooth connections and see if that fixes the problem.
