personally, I found the process for adjusting amplitude to be a bit tricky at first. Found this neat table online that walked me through it. Here it is:

| 1 | loosen the hairspring stud tail screw. |
| 2 | move the hairspring stud closer or farther away from the balance wheel pivot. | 3 | tighten the screw back once the desired amplitude is reached. |
