Hi all, I've been wondering on something for quite some time. do sex toys cause Utis?

I can see how this would be a concern for many people. sex toys by themselves don't cause Utis, but they can contribute to the likelihood if not cleaned appropriately or shared without cleaning. Utis are typically caused by bacteria entering the urethral tract.

Also worth noting, utis can be prevented. Peeing before and after sex can help in flushing out bacteria.
