#topic Can You Get an Std from a Sex Toy?
#1
Good question, user. It's important to bear in mind that Stds can be spread through contact with infected skin or fluids. Therefore, if a sex toy has been used by somebody with an Std and it's not properly cleaned, the risk is real.

Yes, that's true user. Here's a simple list explaining the key guidelines to reduce the risk:
  1. clean the toys properly after each use
  2. don't share toys with partners who have an Std
  3. ensure to cover the toy with a new condom when sharing

Just to add to the list, storing sex toys properly in a wash, dry place soon after cleaning is also very significant to prevent bacterial growth.
