2 How Do I Test the Pulse Function on a Ps4 Controller?
#1
hey, does anyone know how to test the pulse job on a Ps4 controller? Mine doesn't seem to be vibrating during games, and I'm not sure if it's broken or if there's a setting I missed.

you can test the vibration by the Ps4 settings. Go to *settings* > *devices* > *controllers* and allow vibration. If it's on, try turning it off and then back on to reset it. Also, make sure that the game you're playing supports controller vibration—some do not.

another fast way to test is by utilizing a game that has a lot of pulse functions, like racing or shooting games. If it's not pulsate in any of those games, then it might be an issue with the controller itself. In that case, you may possibly need to reset the controller.

if the settings and game don't seem to be the problem, try plugging the controller into a Pc and operating a program like Ds4windows. It has a feature that allows you to test the vibration manually. That way, you can see if the controller's components is malfunctioning.

i've also had concerns where the battery was exactly low, and the pulse stopped functioning to conserve potency. So, double-check if the controller is fully charged. If it still doesn't work, you may need to do a factory reset on the controller.

thanks for all the advice! I'll test it with the settings and a game that uses vibration. If that doesn't work, I'll try plugging it into my Pc. Appreciate the help!
